The National Down Syndrome Society envisions a world in which all people with Down syndrome have the opportunity to realize their life aspirations. Sir Paul made one such young man's dream come true last month during his visit to Chicago. Today's Chicago Tribune reports that last summer, Sean Weisser of Bloomingdale, Illinois wrote to Paul McCartney asking if he could meet him when his U.S. tour came in Chicago. To his surprise, Sir Paul's people responded and arranged for Sean and his family to meet Sir Paul backstage before his October 18th performance at the United Center. Sean presented Sir Paul with a poem he had composed from Beatles lyrics. Sir Paul posed for photos with the young man and autographed some albums for him. "Wow, it was exciting just meeting him," said Sean. "It was all like a dream come true."
