Today's Daily Mail reports that even though tradition dictates that the father of the bride pays for his daughter's wedding, untraditional Stella has told Sir Paul that she wants neither his money nor his help in planning her wedding to Alasdhair Willis. The Mail reports that Sir Paul told a friend this week:"Traditionally, the bride's parents organize the wedding, but Stella is a grown up with her own taste. She says she wants to do it all herself and she wants to do it her own way."Sir Paul had offered Stella a "massive" wedding at the family home in Rye, East Sussex, but Sir Paul's friend told the newspaper:"Publicly he is telling people he is 'cool' about not being involved in Stella's wedding, but it is obvious that he is hurt at her snob. It shows once again that he is no longer a massive part of her life. Of course, he wants all his friends to see his daughter get married, but it looks like she is snubing them too. Stella is also very strong-minded and the thing she would hate would be to have a wedding like Paul and Heather's. She is quite snobbish and wants a classier affair with all her cool showbiz friends."
