While in Dublin, Sir Paul spoke to a Liverpool Echo about bringing his world tour home to Liverpool:
"Yeah, I am looking forward to coming home to finish off the world tour in Liverpool. It was always going to be that way. I remember thinking half-way through the U.S. tour when we saw the reaction, 'I have got to bring this home to Liverpool'."
The reporter was present during the Dublin soundcheck where Sir Paul clearly enjoyed playing to his 10-person audience:
"You've been a great wild audience. Now calm dow. You all right out there? Calm down, calm down'
Then, Sir Paul invited the "crowd" to join him in singing Match Box; Hi Ho Silver; Here, There and Everywhere; Lady Madonna; and C Moon.
