2003-May-22: Sir Paul Sends Good Luck Wishes to Jemini

Today, Britain's Eurovision Song Contest entry, pop duo Jemini,  received a good luck message from Sir Paul saying he'll be "rooting" for them.  The duo has close ties to Sir Paul's Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.  Cry Baby, the song they will sing in the competition in Riga, Latvia on Saturday, was written by Martin Isherwood, LIPA's head of music and their baking vocals will be provided by LIPA students Emma Nowell, Nicola Bell and Lyndsey Powelling.

The text of Sir Paul's message to Jemini read:

"Best of luck, we'll all be rooting for you and listening to Terry Wogan commenting on you.

"Particular congratulations to LIPA students, Lyndsey, Emma and Nicola for being the backing singers. Go Martin, go Jemini and Cry Baby."
