Updated. London's Evening Standard reports that Stella may soon be moving to a new home. Stella may be leaving Notting Hill for a more exclusive address in Belgravia. The move may be prompted by Stella's concerns about security following the recent burglaries of the homes of her friends Kate Moss and Madonna.
The report states that Stella plans to buy a grand five-storey town house in Belgravia valued at GBP 7 million. This new home contains a large studio where she could work and is situated near London's fashionable Sloane Street which has been mentioned as a possible location for one of the new Stella McCartney designer shops. Although the home would provide Stella with ample space to start a family, it does not have an open-air shower in the roof garden. (see April 8) Stella's friends say that she is already making plans to have one installed.
Should Stella purchase the property, her new neighbors would include Baroness Margaret Thatcher, Joan Collins, Roger Moore and Lord Andrew Lloyd-Webber.
In another article published in today's Express, we have learned that Stella has put her 16-year-old dog Millie on a vegetarian diet. Stella is quoted as saying: "She doesn't want to be, but she's doing pretty well with it."
