Today's Daily Telegraph provides us with some details about the Sir Paul's wedding ceremony. They write that Mr. and Mrs. Ringo Starr are flying in from their home in Monaco. Engineers have set up a sound system in the church with which Ringo will offer some special words to the bride and groom - which perhaps may be a new version of "All You Need Is Love"
The wedding cake has been prepared by one of Heather's favorite Brighton establishments, Choccywoccydoodah in Brighton, a favorite haunt of Miss Mills.
The flowers have arrived. One of the wedding workers reports: "There are blooms everywhere. At least two articulated vehicles have arrived with pink, white and red flowers from Holland. A boat has been brought in - and the word is that after the ceremony the bride and groom will sail across the lake."
The article goes on to report that among the 300 wedding guests will be include Eric Clapton, Dave Gilmour of Pink Floyd, Bono, Sting, Lulu and Twiggy.
The guests will enjoy a sumptuous vegetarian banquet seated on white linen chairs decorated with gold bows. The banquet will be followed by music and dancing. Sir Paul and his son James are expected to perform.
At midnight, the guests will be treated to a lakeside fireworks display - weather permitting. After days of sunshine, unfortunately, it may rain on Tuesday.
