During tomorrow evening's live Academy Award performance of Vanilla Sky, Sir Paul and Rusty Anderson will play acoustic guitars and will be accompanied by world-renowned flutist, Jim Walker. Mr. Walker is thrilled, "It hasn't hit yet," he says. "It's beyond any dream I ever had." Sir Paul will whistle the tune as Jim Walker plays it on his penny whistle, an instrument popular in Irish music. You may of heard Mr. Walker's work on the Titanic soundtrack. Sir Paul whistled solo on the original Vanilla Sky recording. Rather than relying on a pre-recording for the Academy Award performance, Sir Paul will whistle along with Jim Walkers tin whistle. "It's worked out great", said Walker, "He is so nice. I honestly can't say I'm nervous now. I'm incredibly excited. I'm sure there will be some jitters before we do it." Jim Walker will join Sir Paul for a third rehearsal today, then have a dress rehearsal Sunday morning.
