From "Introduction"

"Believe it or not, it has been more than thirty years since
The Beatles first conquered America. In the wake of the
assassination of JFK, the infectious melodies and
spellbinding images of those four mop tops from Liverpool,
England, provided the spark our nation needed to pull
itself out of a somber funk. We all began to live, listen and
dance again. The Beatles' profound and unyielding
influence continues to shape our collective consciousness and culture today.
Before 1964 the word "Beatle" conjured up only the image of a pesky black
bug. But, as the innocent sounds of "I Want To Hold Your Hand" and "She
Loves You" blared out of radios across our land, the word "Beatle" would
forever more elicit visuals of 'I'he Fab Four - John Lennon, Paul McCartney,
George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Crossing musical genres and changing
identities with incomparable ease and consistenccy, The Beatles were unlike
any other rock and roll band; they quite simply transcended the medium to
inhabit their own unique stratosphere.
With this exclusive collection of candid conversations with The Beatles and
their contemporaries, we salute John, Paul, George and Ringo for their
remarkable artistic accomplishments and their equally indelible
contributions to our lives and culture as well. We hope after reading Meet
The Beatles ... Again, you'll pull out a Beatles CD or album and relive those
magical Mop Top memories.

And now, please excuse us. It's time for our Beatles break as well!"
