This Christmas, Sir Paul and Heather appeared on a special celebrity edition of Who Wants to be a Millionaire and won £32,000 for their Adopt-a-Minefield charity. They appeared on the program twice - first on Christmas Eve and again on Christmas day when they returned to attempt to finish the game. They answered the answer the £32,000 question correctly: "Kathleen Ferrier was famous in which field -Sculpture, Acting, Painting, or Music?" The correct answer was "Music." The £64,000 question asked "B is the symbol for which element - Barium, Bromine, Boron or Bismuth?" With no lifelines remaining, the McCartneys guessed "Barium". The correct answer was "Boron".
Millionaire host, Chris Tarrant, said:"All our celebrities were brilliant this Christmas. It's always tough in that chair, but it's even tougher when it's not your own money that is at stake. Congratulations to all of them."
