On July 30, the Rolling Stones will perform as part of the Molson Canadian Rocks for Toronto, a super-concert designed to lure tourists back to the city now that the fear of the SARS epidemic have been put to rest. Promoters of the Downsview Park event have officially announced the names of 15 other acts who will perform at the event. Now rumors persist that Sir Paul may have been added to the concert's roster. Is it true?
During Tuesday's news conference, concert organizer Riley O'Connor of the House Of Blues would only say:"We're hearing the same rumors. I have no idea. I think we're going to hear ... some nice surprises. I've done a lot of concerts in the last 30 years, and I can tell you I've had special guests show up the night before the show or while the band's on stage."
