According to his spokesman, Geoff Baker, Sir Paul may not be able to keep his May 30 concert date in Glasgow, Scotland. The show at Sheffield's Hallam Arena (which was cancelled on April 6 when Sir Paul caught a cold and lost his voice) has been rescheduled for May 29 which would be the day before he planned to perform in Glasgow. Mr. Baker told reporters:
"Paul is frustrated by all of this. We are trying desperately hard to sort it out but it looks very doubtful we can do both shows. We cannot get the stage from different parts of Britain in time - it is not like putting up a tent."Sir Paul is scheduled to end this leg of the tour in his home town of Liverpool on June 1. It would be impossible to extend the tour beyond that date because half of his stage crew have made commitments to other tours.
