Today's Sunday Mirror reports that Sir Paul is planning to spend a few days relaxing in Scotland before his May 30 concert in Glasgow. According to "a source":
"Paul and Heather are going to have a break. "He loves Scotland - but so does Heather. She thinks it is a beautiful and romantic place. It is just as well with her name! It's going to be a very close time for them. Most likely, the couple will not be staying at Sir Paul's High Park Farm on Kintyre. The source claims, "He wants to be within easy striking distance of Glasgow at least the day before."
Sir Paul's spokesman Geoff Baker confirmed that the couple will spend a short break in Scotland before the Parkhead concert, but would not disclose location:
"It is a private break. We are eagerly preparing for the Scottish show and details will be announced very soon."Meanwhile, the Kintyre Schools' Pipe Band has written to Sir Paul offering to play Mull of Kintyre at his Glasgow gig. According to Pipe Major, Ian:
"I was only 16 when I played on the Mull of Kintyre and it was a dream come true. We play the Mull all the time. We could play it tonight with him - we know it that well. Sir Paul put this place on the map with that song. It would be nice if he chose us to play with him.
Mr. Baker said the band's offer was being considered.
