(Updated October 23) Both Sir Paul and Heather Mills McCartney will be working in Seattle today. Sir Paul will be appearing in concert this evening at the Tacoma Dome. This afternoon at 1:00, Heather will make an appearance at the downtown Seattle Bon Marché at the I.N.C. International Concepts Department on the second floor. Her appearance will earn $10,000 for her Adopt-a-Minefield charity.
Heather also granted an interview with Seatle's KOMO 4 News and talked about the Driving USA Tour:"Today's a bit easier. It's two cities in one day. The other day was four cities."Heather also talked about her campaign to raise funds to provide prosthetic limbs for amputees and land mine victims:"We've fitted over 27,000 people since I've been an amputee, which is fantastic. I don't ever see myself not doing this. This is lifelong work and will have to continue long past my days. Many people sit at home and go 'I'd love to go to Afghanistan and save all these children.' But you can actually start from home and make a huge difference."
