Sir Paul has requested several days of "peace, solitude and gentle outdoor adventure" when he arrives in Melbourne, Australia following his performances in Japan. His plans include sailing on Melbourne's Port Phillip Bay, horseback riding, kangaroo spotting, and visiting relatives. According to one of the organizers of the Australian event:"He cannot wait to get to Melbourne because he has five or six days of down time. Sir Paul and the band are really focused on it. They don't see Japan as a holiday. They see Melbourne as where they want to get to."No doubt while in Melbourne, Sir Paul will continue to enjoy his daily massage. In Boston last week, Sir Paul revealed that not only does he practice yoga every day, but he also pampers himself with a daily 90 minute massage. He is such a fan of the practice, he says, "I really should write a book about massage!"
For a rock star, Sir Paul is described as being low-maintenance while on the road. His only backstage request is for organic fruit and vegetables. He also imposes a one-hour maximum for promotion and interviews.
