Today's Sunday Times (London) tells us that we can expect Sir Paul's "Freedom" single to be re-released at the end of the summer in commemoration of the first anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. The article goes on to predict that it will do well and will receive significant air play as radio stations and record companies strive to set the national mood with music. It is hoped that "Freedom" and other commemorative songs will prove popular with a "reflective public". A record industry executive is quoted as saying, "People turn to music at times like this, so a lot of thought is going into choosing the right songs."
