Sir Paul's daughters, Mary and Stella were in London today to lend their support to a good cause - the screening of a new documentary film called Peace One Day. The film, a call to end to all violence, will be released to the public on September 21 and will coincide with the first U.N. International Day of Peace. Just four days before last 11 September the U.N. general assembly unanimously agreed to support Peace One Day, which will take place every September 21st.
The film documents the exploits of former Royal Shakespeare Company actor Jeremy Gilley and his team of six London based volunteers in their work to bring about an annual international ceasefire day. Mary stayed to watch the film, but Stella left before it started saying, "I've already seen it - but I wanted to pop in to show my support."
