London's Evening Standard report today that the families of Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills celebrated in the main hall of Castle Leslie until 4:00 a.m. this morning. After enjoying a vegetarian meal during which time Sir Paul's brother and best man, Mike, offered a toast to the happy couple, there was music and Irish dancing. Sir Paul joined by four members of his recent tour band also entertained the guests. Sir Paul sang and played the piano.
The bride retired early to her own room in a separate wing of the castle. Geoff Baker explained:"'They are doing the traditional thing of sleeping in separate rooms while still sleeping under the same roof. Paul will be up bright and early regardless of the previous night's festivities - he's an early riser anyway, and remember he's sleeping on his own so there will be no lying in together. Heather will be up really early too as she has so much to do like any bride. All the talk of there being animosity between Heather and Paul's kids is nonsense - they just want them both to be blissfully happy."
