Updated May 30. The Daily Mail is reporting today that during next month's Buckingham Palace concert Sir Paul and Eric Clapton will perform George Harrison's song Here Comes The Sun. A Jubilee concert source is quoted as saying, "Paul really wanted to do one of George's songs as a tribute to him and he thought Eric Clapton would be the perfect artist to join him on stage. It should be an emotional performance."
The New York Times reports that Eric Clapton will begin the homage playing George's classic piece, While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Sir Paul will join Mr. Clapton half way through the song. The two will then perform Here Comes The Sun together. London's Evening Standard adds that sources close to Sir Paul say that the song will be sung as a serenade to Heather. It is one of her favorite songs and, if the rumors are true,Sir Paul will marry her three days after the concert.
The Daily Mail article goes on to say that for the concert's grand finale, Sir Paul will lead everyone in the singing of the Beatles' classic All You Need Is Love.
