Sir Paul told ABC news that he decided to go on tour again because "the time's right. I've written my songs … now I tour. I just thought this feels exciting."
Although he admitted that on Monday, he experienced a few opening night jitters and that his voice was a bit hoarse. He messed up some of the lyrics, but it appears that the crowd didn't mind a bit:"It's funny because I used to really panic about that. Turns out our audiences kind of like that. … You hear people afterward say, 'That was the best bit.'"During the concert, Sir Paul performs eleven of his songs solo and acoustic:"I'm sort of plucking up the courage to go up there and do stuff one-on-one because I normally have this security blanket of a big, fat band."And has he approaches 60, has he given any thought to retiring? No way!"People who have boring jobs look forward to that day, you know, kick back, go the gardening. But I have quite a bit of time off and I love what I do. So, It's like a hobby for me. It pays well, but it's like a hobby."
