Amazingly, the man pictured at left, shown recording his current album of "Beatlesque" songs in the Abbey Road studios is not Paul McCartney! He is Kenny Herbert, 48, from Edinburgh, Scotland and his latest album entitled The Last Song in Abbey Road is in high demand. Even Sir Paul's label, EMI, is hard at work to win the rights to the album.
According to Kenny Herbert, "The record has definitely been inspired by the Beatles and it was a dream come true to play in Abbey Road. We played in studio two, which is where the group recorded some of their biggest hits."
Sir Paul has had some fun with the uncanny resemblance the two men share. Mr. Herbert says that, "I've met Paul a few times and he was quite surprised at the similarity. He even invited me to appear in the video for Take It Away in 1982. We had a ball that day. I came into the studio early and the Press thought I was him and started chasing me. It was really funny."
